A: Because firewood is a natural product and cut to order, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges once wood has been delivered or picked up. If there’s ever an issue with your order, please reach out — we’ll always do our best to make it right.
Q: How old is your wood?
A: We split wood daily, and every log has been cut and drying for at least one year before it reaches you. This ensures consistent quality and a reliable burn — no freshly-cut or sappy logs here.
Q: Is your firewood seasoned? What does that mean?
A: Yes! Our seasoned firewood has been air-dried for 12 months or longer, allowing the natural moisture to drop to around 15–30%. That means it lights easily, burns hotter, and produces less smoke than green wood. You may notice a bit of surface moisture after rain or dew, but it dries quickly once stored properly.
Q: What is kiln-dried firewood?
A: Kiln-dried firewood is wood that’s been placed in a heated chamber, where warm, circulating air removes moisture quickly and evenly. It’s extra clean, lights easily, and burns with minimal smoke. Many customers prefer kiln-dried wood for indoor fireplaces, pizza ovens, or anytime they want a mess-free, ready-to-burn option.
Q: What’s the difference between 1/6, 1/3, 1/2, and a full cord?
A: Great question — it’s all about how much wood you need and how often you burn.

A: Keep it off the ground and covered, but allow for airflow so the wood stays dry and ready to burn. A rack or pallet works great — and we even offer those on our site.
